I’m actively recruiting PostDocs and Ph.D. candidates! If you are interested, please send me an email or check about the links here.

My research mainly focuses on Information Retrieval and related topics. Currently I’m working on integrating retrieval and generative AI techniques to build better information access systems and agents, including retrieval/ranking optimization, retrieval augmented generation, automatic prompt refinement, continue learning for agents, and more.

I got my MS/Ph.D degree from College of Information and Computer Sciences, University of Massachusetts Amherst, advised by Prof. W. Bruce Croft in the Center for Intelligent Information Retrieval (CIIR). And I got my bachelor degree from Dept. Computer Science & Technology, Tsinghua University.
